But first, coffee...
As a nod to my favorite coffee drink from the coffee shop up the street, I felt inspired to find a way to replicate it- but with the perfect boozy infusion. Thus, came the birth of this cocktail and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! The combination of freshly chilled coffee with some caramel vodka and Godiva chocolate liqueur make this drink an iced, boozy version of my beloved Turtle Mocha from Caribou Coffee. Pair this cocktail with your favorite brunch cuisine or enjoy by itself, and be fully warned-these go down extremely smooth! You may want to hang out a while or plan on calling an Uber!

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Yield: 1 martini
What You'll Need:
.75 oz chilled coffee (about half a shot glass)
1.5 oz Caramel vodka (such as Smirnoff Salted Caramel)
1.5 oz chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva)
Chocolate syrup
Small handful of crushed toasted pecans
Ice
Chilled Martini Glass
Drink Shaker
How to Prepare:
1. Heat a sauce pan over low heat and throw in your pecans. You will toast them for about 3-5 minutes, tossing occasionally. Then, dump onto a cutting board and give a fine chop, then move to a plate.
2. Pour some chocolate syrup onto a separate plate and then taking your chilled martini glass, dip the rim into the chocolate sauce and then into the crushed pecans and press down to coat the rim generously.
3. Put a good handful of ice into a drink shaker and then pour in the coffee, chocolate liqueur and caramel vodka. Give a good shake to mix and chill, then pour into your martini glass. Enjoy!
